Generation systems

To structure technically, legally and financially a public-private partnership project that contemplates the design, construction and/or rehabilitation, operation and maintenance of the infrastructure of an electric power generation system in the air units of the Colombian Air Force.

For the achievement of this study, an initial phase was executed, in which a diagnosis of the thirteen Military Air Units of the FAC-UMA was carried out, to establish their viability under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) scheme in Colombia (based on the provisions of Law 1508 of 2012 and Decree 1082 of 2015).

Once the diagnosis was completed, it was proposed within the UMA system the units that have the conditions for:

• Generation of photovoltaic electric energy for self-supply and/or
• Those that allow the generation of surpluses with the use of photovoltaic systems.
