In USAENE SAS we are aware of the importance of ensuring a healthy environment and lifestyle, bearing in mind that the consumption of alcohol, tobacco and psychoactive substances is a problem that affects society, the family and the work environment, in the latter case affecting aspects such as health, safety, efficiency and productivity of our employees. The company is committed to develop strategies to prevent the consumption of alcohol and psychoactive substances and to provide a smoke-free work environment, with the participation of the different organizational levels, based on principles of equality, confidentiality and equity.
Failure to comply with this policy is considered a serious breach of contractual and legal duties and obligations, in case of any indication the company will carry out disciplinary proceedings, in accordance with current regulations.
To ensure the collaboration of workers in these issues, the COPASST will be responsible for promoting and disseminating the different prevention and control mechanisms that are established. Workers must behave responsibly and participate in awareness-raising activities to promote compliance with this policy.
Harassment Prevention Policy
In the company USAENE SAS we are aware of the importance of having a healthy, safe and adequate work environment, for which we generate and promote conditions that prevent situations of harassment at work, based on the provisions of Law 1010 of 2006 and current legislation. The company has created the Labor Coexistence Committee which is composed of company employees who ensure compliance and implementation of this policy to promote the good development of the work environment and the prevention of harassment at work, promoting non-discrimination for reasons of race, gender, age, family or national origin, religious creed, political preference or social situation that lacks all reasonableness from the labor point of view.
It is the policy of USAENE SAS to conduct business with integrity and in compliance with anti-corruption laws.
USAENE SAS contracts with legally constituted companies, which adhere to the same principles of transparency against corruption. This is not only a cultural commitment, but a moral duty and a legal requirement.
Within the framework of sustainability, USAENE adopts its zero paper policy, whose purpose is to reduce its consumption through the implementation of saving strategies, campaigns aimed at the people who integrate and visit USAENE, in order to encourage and generate a culture of responsibility in the consumption of paper in its different presentations and other activities that are for the fulfillment of the environmental objectives and goals.
USAENE SAS, within the framework of LAW 2365 OF 2024, formulates the sexual harassment policy, through which it assumes the commitment to maintain a respectful and safe environment; to strengthen the dignity, individual freedom and fundamental rights of all people who make up the organization.
With respect to this commitment, it declares that sexual harassment in the workplace is an attack on the dignity of employees and their fundamental rights.
This policy applies to all USAENE employees, and cases of non-compliance will be channeled through the Labor Coexistence Committee by means of the SGI-INS-01 INSTRUCTIONS FOR PREVENTION, PROTECTION AND ATTENTION OF SEXUAL AND LABOR HARASSMENT.
With this policy, USAENE reaffirms its propensity to guarantee the fundamental right to equality, non-discrimination and a life free of violence through the adoption of measures for prevention, protection and attention to victims of sexual harassment in the work context, in favor of a solid organizational culture.
USAENE SAS, in accordance with the provisions of Law 1010 of 2006 and 2191 of 2022, declares the Labor Disconnection Policy, which aims to promote the human right to labor disconnection of all people, in order to ensure its employees the effective enjoyment of their free time, rest, leave, leave and/or vacation, in order to reconcile personal, family and work life.
Within the framework of this policy, once the maximum legal working hours have been completed, the employee will have the full right to disconnect from work, so the company will not be able to generate additional requirements or obligations.
Complaints arising from non-compliance will be channeled through the Labor Coexistence Committee by means of the SGI-INS-01 INSTRUCTIONS FOR PREVENTION, PROTECTION AND ATTENTION OF SEXUAL AND LABOR HARASSMENT.
This policy presents exceptions to the right to disconnect from work for those employees who hold positions of leadership, trust and management; which are not exempted from continuing to have contact with work matters during non-working hours, this being by mutual agreement between the parties.
It should be noted that this policy is part of the company's management policies; therefore, it will be reviewed annually and disclosed to all employees, who must be committed to its full implementation.
With this Policy we reaffirm not only our adherence to ethical and legal principles regarding Human Rights, but also our commitment to building a corporate culture that prioritizes work in dignified and fair conditions.
